I wondered how to reinterpret trying to focus on the Greek myth. Without therefore affecting Caravaggio’s masterful interpretation, but getting inspired.
Then to model the shapes, the subject, the swirling movement of the snakes, to the jet of blood.
However, by intervening on a representation of the mythological monstrosity of the gorgon and therefore intervening on the animalistic monstrosity of the Medusa, of the eyes from which the curse that petrified people, on the brightness of the shield of Perseus.
